Did you ever feel the urge to go to the airport and watch planes? Well, I do all the time and usually end up not having a sense of which runway is the best at what time. So I built this web app that shows you the hottest runways at your airport along with the stats, like whether a runway is used for takeoffs or landings. Just like the "popular times" graph on Google Maps, this helps you plan your visit so that you have the best plane spotting experience.
The color of the runway tells you if it is currently in use, and ADS-B data pulled from public sources lets you know what plane is taking off or landing, as well as a countdown for landings so you can prepare your cameras and get ready to shoot.
You can also place yourself on the map and see your orientation. That way you always know what direction you are facing and what is right in front of you.
